6 answersWhich panelboards accept the Siemens B220AFC circuit breaker?
This bolt-on breaker is designed exclusively for Siemens commercial panelboards, including the P1, P2, P3, P4, and P5 series. It will not fit in standard residential plug-on load centers.
How do I connect the neutral on the B220AFC?
This breaker uses a pigtail neutral design. You must route and connect the attached coiled white pigtail wire directly to the panelboard's neutral bus bar for the arc fault circuitry to function properly.
Where does the load neutral wire connect during installation?
The load neutral wire must be connected directly to the designated neutral terminal on the breaker itself, not the panel's neutral bus. Only the breaker's factory-installed pigtail wire goes to the panel neutral bus.
What are the accepted wire sizes and torque specs for the load terminals?
The load lugs accept 14-8 AWG copper (Cu) or 12-8 AWG aluminum (Al) conductors. The terminals should be tightened to a torque of 25 lb-in.
What does Combination AFCI mean for this breaker?
As a Combination Type Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (CAFCI), it detects all three major types of arcing faults: line-to-ground, line-to-neutral, and series arcs. This provides comprehensive protection against arc-induced electrical fires.
Can the B220AFC be installed in Eaton or GE panelboards?
No. Siemens bolt-on breakers are engineered and UL listed specifically for Siemens panels. Mixing brands compromises the electrical connection and violates UL safety listings.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
