This breaker is designed for use in Siemens EQ, PL, ES, and Ultimate load centers. It is also UL listed as a valid substitution for older Murray panels that accept MP-AT type breakers.
Is the QA120AFC a direct replacement for the older Q120AFC?
Yes, the QA120AFC is the current combination AFCI model that replaces the obsolete Q120AFC branch and feeder arc fault breaker.
Does this breaker feature a plug-on neutral or a pigtail neutral?
The QA120AFC is a pigtail neutral breaker. It includes a coiled white wire that must be manually connected to the neutral bus bar in your panel. For plug-on neutral panels, the QA120AFCN is the correct alternative.
What types of faults does a Combination AFCI detect?
A Combination Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (CAFCI) detects all three possible types of arc faults: line-to-ground, line-to-neutral, and series arcs. This provides more comprehensive fire protection than older branch and feeder AFCI models.
How do I use the LED trip indicators on this breaker?
After a trip, turn the breaker back on. The LEDs will illuminate for 5 seconds to indicate the cause of the last trip. One LED indicates an arcing fault, and two LEDs indicate an arcing fault to ground.
Does the QA120AFC provide GFCI protection?
No, this model provides arc fault protection only. If your circuit requires both arc fault and ground fault protection, you will need a dual function breaker, such as the Q120DF.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
