What is the difference between the THQL1120AF and the THQL1120AF2?
The THQL1120AF is a branch/feeder Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) designed for earlier NEC code cycles. The THQL1120AF2 is the newer combination AFCI model that detects both parallel and series arcing.
How is the neutral connection established on the THQL1120AF?
This breaker utilizes a standard pigtail wire that must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in the load center to provide arc fault protection.
What are the recommended tightening torques for the box lugs on this breaker?
For the accepted wire range, tighten 14 to 10 AWG wire to 35 in-lb, and 8 AWG wire to 40 in-lb.
