This breaker is designed for installation in Siemens P4 and P5 panelboards, as well as SB1, SB2, and SB3 switchboards.
What wire sizes and types are supported by the lugs on the HK3B800?
The included lugs accept up to three conductors per phase, supporting wire sizes from 1/0 AWG to 500 kcmil. They are rated for use with both copper and aluminum conductors.
How does the trip unit on the HK3B800 operate?
It features a thermal-magnetic trip unit with a fixed thermal element for overload protection and an adjustable magnetic element. The adjustable magnetic setting allows you to tune the instantaneous short-circuit response to prevent nuisance tripping from high inrush currents.
Does the HK3B800 include ground fault protection?
No, this breaker is equipped with standard Long-Time and Instantaneous (LI) trip functions. It does not provide ground fault protection or electronic LSIG capabilities.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
