What level of ground fault protection does this breaker provide?
The THQL2130GF1 provides Class A 5mA ground fault protection. This level of protection is designed to detect low-level current leaks and shut off power to prevent severe electrical shock, making it suitable for damp or wet locations.
How do I connect the neutral for this GFCI breaker?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in your panel to power the breaker's internal ground fault circuitry.
Can I use this 2-pole GFCI breaker for a 240V load that does not have a neutral wire?
Yes. When supplying a 240V-only load without a load neutral, you leave the breaker's load neutral terminal empty. However, you must still connect the breaker's white pigtail wire to the panel's neutral bus bar for the GFCI protection to function.
