What does the "BC" suffix mean in the FC24040BC catalog number?
The "BC" suffix indicates the phase connection for the I-Line bus. This 2-pole breaker is configured to connect specifically to the B and C phases in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards.
Can I install the FC24040BC in a standard QO or Homeline load center?

Does the FC24040BC require separate bus connectors for installation?
No. The FC24040BC features integral plug-on jaws that connect directly to the I-Line bus stack. It is secured in place with a screwdriver, eliminating the need to assemble separate connectors to the bus bar.
