The XO240 is a legacy plug-on breaker designed exclusively for use in older Square D XO and Cutler-Hammer XO load centers. It will not fit in modern Square D QO or Homeline panels.
Can I use a Cutler-Hammer XO breaker in place of the Square D XO240?
Yes. Square D and Cutler-Hammer both manufactured XO series breakers for the same panel designs. A Cutler-Hammer XO breaker of the same amperage and pole configuration can be used as a direct replacement.
Is the XO series still actively manufactured?
The XO series is a legacy product line that has been obsolete for decades, originally replaced by the Square D QO line in the late 1950s. These breakers are sourced specifically to maintain existing older panels.
Does the XO240 feature a common trip mechanism?
Yes. As a 2-pole breaker, it features an internal common trip mechanism that ensures both poles disconnect simultaneously in the event of an overcurrent or short circuit on either leg.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

I ordered 3 xo15 breakers from another company that advertised them as new and since they're obsolete breakers they were quit expensive however when i received them only one was new the other two were obviously used, corroded and missing the wire screw.
