The BRH120 is designed for use in Eaton Type BR load centers. It is also UL listed for use in legacy Westinghouse, Challenger, and Bryant panels that accept Type BR breakers.
What is the difference between the Eaton BR120 and the BRH120?
Both are 20A, 1-pole Type BR breakers, but they have different interrupting ratings. The standard BR120 is rated at 10 kAIC, while the BRH120 is a high-interrupting breaker rated at 22 kAIC.
Can I use the Eaton BRH120 to replace an older Cutler-Hammer BRH120?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, and the BRH120 is the exact same breaker. It retains the same physical dimensions, specifications, and catalog number.
Is the Eaton BRH120 HACR and SWD rated?
Yes, this 20A breaker is HACR rated for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. It is also SWD (Switching Duty) rated, meaning it is approved for switching 120V fluorescent lighting circuits on and off regularly.
What are the terminal torque specifications for the BRH120 breaker?
The required torque depends on the wire gauge. Torque 14-10 AWG wire to 20 in-lbs, 8 AWG wire to 25 in-lbs, and 6-4 AWG wire to 27 in-lbs. Always use 60/75 degrees Celsius rated copper or aluminum conductors.
Does the BRH120 provide arc fault or ground fault protection?
No. The BRH120 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker that provides overload and short-circuit protection. It does not include AFCI or GFCI circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
