The S suffix indicates this breaker includes a factory-installed shunt trip. This allows the breaker to be tripped remotely using a 120V, 208V, or 240V AC control signal.
Does the shunt trip on the QBHW1020S require additional panel space?
Yes. The factory-installed shunt trip module is attached to the right-hand side of the breaker. Because of this, the 1-pole breaker will occupy two pole spaces in your panelboard.
Which panelboards are compatible with the QBHW1020S?
This bolt-on breaker is designed for Eaton Pow-R-Line panelboards, such as the PRL1a and PRL2a series, that accept BAB or QBHW frame breakers.
How does the QBHW series differ from standard BAB breakers?
Both are bolt-on Quicklag breakers that fit the same panels, but the QBHW series features a higher interrupting rating of 22kAIC. Standard BAB breakers are rated at 10kAIC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
