Designed for advanced control, this 60-amp device integrates overcurrent defense with remote shutdown capabilities. The 120VAC shunt trip allows facility managers to disconnect power from a distance using an external switch or automated system. Built exclusively for Eaton Type CH load centers, the plug-on configuration ensures a tight connection to the panel's copper busbars. It delivers a 10kAIC interrupting rating at 240VAC. The thermal-magnetic mechanism provides reliable protection.
What does the ST suffix indicate on the CH360ST breaker?
The ST suffix designates a factory-installed shunt trip mechanism. This allows the breaker to be tripped remotely via an external voltage signal, which is commonly used for emergency stops or automated control systems.
How many panel spaces does the CH360ST require?
While it is a 3-pole breaker, the integrated shunt trip requires one additional pole space. The CH360ST requires a total of four 3/4-inch spaces in an Eaton Type CH load center.
Will the CH360ST fit in an Eaton BR series or Square D QO load center?
No. The CH360ST features a proprietary plug-on clip designed exclusively for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Type CH load centers. It is not physically compatible with BR series, Square D QO, or other panel types.
Are Eaton and Cutler-Hammer CH360ST breakers the same product?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and continues to manufacture the CH series. Breakers branded as either Eaton or Cutler-Hammer with the CH360ST catalog number are identical and fully interchangeable.
Does the CH360ST include ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker with a shunt trip. It provides standard overload and short-circuit protection but does not feature GFCI or AFCI capabilities.

Got a great refurbished breaker - saved a $6500 Service Replacement
When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
