The CF3015 is a legacy CF frame breaker designed specifically for older commercial Challenger, Westinghouse, and Eaton Cutler-Hammer panelboards. It will not fit in standard residential Eaton load centers that require BR or CH type breakers.
What type of wire can I use with the CF3015 lugs?
The standard lugs accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG wire. You can use either copper or aluminum conductors, provided they meet the temperature ratings and specifications of your panelboard and local electrical codes.
What is the current Eaton replacement for the legacy Challenger CF3015?
The Eaton FD3015 is the direct replacement for the CF3015. It is an F-frame breaker that fits the same mounting footprint in legacy panelboards without requiring any modification kits.
Does the CF3015 plug onto the busbar?
No, this is a unit mount, bolt-on circuit breaker. It requires physical bolted connections to the panelboard bus and does not snap or plug into place.
Is the CF3015 suitable for direct current applications?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
