7 answersCan the Eaton ED2030 be installed in 480V or 600V systems?
No. The ED frame is strictly rated for a maximum of 240VAC or 125VDC. For 480V or 600V applications, you must use a different Series C F-Frame breaker, such as the FD, HFD, or FDC series.
What equipment is the ED2030 F-Frame breaker designed to fit?
This breaker is engineered for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It is a direct replacement for existing 30A, 2-pole ED breakers in these systems.
Are line and load lugs included with the ED2030?
Yes, the breaker is supplied with standard pressure lugs on both the line and load sides. These terminals accommodate 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors.
Are Eaton and Cutler-Hammer ED2030 breakers interchangeable?
Yes. Eaton manufactures the Series C line and previously branded them as Cutler-Hammer. Breakers marked with either brand sharing the ED2030 catalog number are identical in physical dimensions, mounting, and electrical performance.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the ED2030?
No. This breaker is equipped with a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection settings are factory set for 30 amps and cannot be modified.
Is the ED2030 a plug-on or bolt-on breaker?
The ED2030 is a bolt-on molded case circuit breaker. It must be securely bolted to the busbar and is not compatible with standard residential plug-on load centers.
Is the ED2030 rated for direct current (DC) applications?
Yes, the ED2030 carries a DC rating of 10kAIC at 125VDC, making it suitable for specific low voltage DC control panels and battery systems.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
