This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It mounts directly to the busbar using the line-side bolt-on connections.
What type of wire connections are included with the EDC3225?
The breaker includes mechanical lugs on the load side only, which accept 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire. The line side bolts directly to the panel bus.
Is the EDC3225 suitable for back-feeding?
Yes, this breaker is approved for reverse feed applications. Because it is a factory-sealed unit without dedicated line and load markings, the connections can be safely swapped.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the EDC3225?
No, the thermal magnetic trip unit is completely fixed. Both the long-time and instantaneous protection functions are factory set for 225 amps and cannot be modified.
Will standard Series C accessories fit the EDC3225?
Yes, because it is an F-frame Series C breaker, it accepts standard internal accessories like shunt trips, auxiliary switches, and undervoltage releases. These mount inside the breaker accessory cavities.
Does the EDC3225 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No, this is a standard thermal magnetic breaker providing long-time and instantaneous overcurrent protection. It does not include integral ground fault or arc fault circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
