This breaker is designed for use in Eaton Type BR load centers. Because it features a pigtail neutral connection, it can be installed in both legacy standard neutral panels and newer Plug-on Neutral (PON) BR panels.
What is the difference between the BRHCAF120 and the BRCAF120?
The H in the BRHCAF120 part number indicates a high interrupting rating of 22kAIC. The standard BRCAF120 has a 10kAIC rating. Both are 20A, 1-pole combination arc fault breakers with pigtail neutrals.
How do I connect the neutral on the BRHCAF120?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral design. You must connect the coiled white pigtail wire directly to the neutral bus bar in your panel, and land the circuit's neutral wire on the breaker itself.
Can I use the BRHCAF120 on a shared neutral circuit?
No. As a single-pole combination AFCI, this breaker requires a dedicated neutral for the circuit it protects. It will not function correctly on a multi-wire branch circuit with a shared neutral.
What type of arc faults does this breaker detect?
As a combination arc fault circuit interrupter (CAFCI), it is designed to detect both parallel arcing (line-to-line or line-to-ground) and series arcing (along a single broken conductor) to help prevent electrical fires.
Is the BRHCAF120 a direct replacement for older Cutler-Hammer BR arc fault breakers?

Free Shipping Policy

Expedited Shipments
