No. The CH240EPD is designed exclusively for Eaton CH series load centers, which use a 3/4-inch breaker spacing. Eaton BR panels require breakers with a 1-inch spacing.
What does the EPD designation mean on the CH240EPD?
EPD stands for Equipment Protection Device. This breaker provides ground fault protection with a 30mA trip threshold, designed to protect equipment like heat tracing or well pumps. It is not a Class A 5mA GFCI breaker intended for personnel protection.
How is the neutral connected on this breaker?
The CH240EPD features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white wire attached to the breaker must be wired directly to the neutral bus bar in your load center for the ground fault circuitry to operate correctly.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
