Can I use the GHB1020 in place of a BAB series circuit breaker?
No. While both are bolt-on breakers manufactured by Eaton, the GHB and BAB series have different physical dimensions, frame types, and voltage applications. The GHB1020 is a G-Frame breaker built for 277VAC systems, whereas BAB breakers are typically used in 120/240VAC panels. They are not interchangeable.
How does the interrupting capacity (AIC) vary based on system voltage?
The GHB1020 offers a maximum interrupting capacity of 65kAIC when used in 120VAC applications. However, when installed in a 277VAC system, the interrupting rating drops to 14kAIC. It is critical to verify the available fault current at your specific installation voltage.

Good product, but I was disappointed with the service. I accidentally placed two separate orders and ended up paying freight on both. I had requested that they combine the orders, and had that been done with the freight waived, it would have saved me money.
