Can the Eaton HKA3150 replace older Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer HKA3150 breakers?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse circuit breaker lines. The current Eaton HKA3150 is a direct, drop-in replacement for the legacy Westinghouse and Cutler-Hammer models bearing the exact same catalog number.
What is the difference between the KA3150 and the HKA3150?
The HKA3150 is the high interrupting capacity version of the standard KA3150. While both are 150A, 3 pole K-frame breakers, the HKA model provides a higher short circuit rating, such as 35kAIC at 480VAC compared to the standard KA rating.
How do I adjust the trip settings on the HKA3150?
This breaker features a fixed thermal and adjustable magnetic trip unit. The instantaneous magnetic trip threshold can be adjusted using the dial located on the front face of the breaker to coordinate with downstream loads and prevent nuisance tripping.
What wire sizes are accepted by the terminals on this breaker?
The standard lugs accept copper or aluminum conductors ranging from 4 AWG up to 350 kcmil. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation as listed on the breaker faceplate.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
