Designed for advanced control and safety, the Eaton ED3225S01 is a 3-pole, 225A molded case circuit breaker featuring a factory-installed shunt trip for remote tripping applications. Part of the Series C F-frame lineup, it provides reliable thermal-magnetic (LI) protection with a 65 kAIC rating at 240VAC. The "S01" suffix signifies that this breaker includes a factory-installed shunt trip accessory wired for 12 to 24 VAC or VDC, mounted in the left pole.
Does the ED3225S01 include both line and load terminals?
By default, standard Eaton F-Frame breakers like the ED3225S01 are supplied with load-end terminals only. If your installation requires factory-installed line and load terminals, you will need a breaker with an "L" suffix (such as ED3225L) or you must source the line-side lugs separately.
Can I field-install a different internal accessory in this breaker?
Eaton F-Frame circuit breakers are factory sealed. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) requires that internal accessories, such as the included S01 shunt trip, be installed at the factory. Field modification is not recommended and may void the UL listing.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip points adjustable on this model?
No, this breaker uses a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic (LI) trip unit. Neither the long-time overload nor the instantaneous short-circuit trip settings can be adjusted in the field.

Expedited Shipments
