This Series C F-frame breaker is designed for use in Eaton and Cutler-Hammer panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It mounts directly to the bus using a bolt-on connection.
Can the Eaton EDS2225 be reverse fed?
Yes. Like all Eaton Series C F-frame circuit breakers with non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip units, the EDS2225 is suitable for reverse feed applications.
Is there a direct replacement for the EDS2225 that offers a higher interrupting rating?
Yes. If your system requires a higher short-circuit rating, the Eaton ED2225 shares the same physical dimensions and F-frame footprint but provides 65 kAIC at 240 Vac, compared to the 42 kAIC rating of the EDS2225.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the EDS2225?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit, meaning both the long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit trip points are factory set and cannot be modified.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
