Part of the proven Series C family, this 35A F-frame molded case circuit breaker provides essential thermal-magnetic protection for commercial and industrial electrical systems. It installs into standard Eaton switchboards and panelboards using a secure bolt-on mounting configuration. Rated for 14kAIC at 480VAC, the unit features non-interchangeable trips and is HACR rated for HVAC applications. Is there a newer replacement for the legacy FDB2035 breaker?
Yes, the FDB2035 is a legacy Series C component. It is officially replaced by the newer Eaton Power Defense series, specifically catalog number PDG22F0035TFFJ.
Is there a difference between the Eaton and Cutler-Hammer versions of the FDB2035?
No, they are the exact same breaker. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and transitioned the branding, but the Series C F-frame breakers remain functionally identical regardless of which name is printed on the label.
What does the "LI" trip function code mean for the FDB2035?
The "LI" code indicates the breaker uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit with Long-Time and Instantaneous protection. Both the thermal overload and magnetic short-circuit trip points are fixed and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Why does the FDB2035 have multiple interrupting ratings?
A breaker's interrupting capacity depends on the operating voltage of the electrical system. The FDB2035 can safely clear fault currents up to 18kA at 240VAC, but the maximum fault current it can interrupt decreases to 14kA on 480VAC or 600VAC systems.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
