Is the FDB3125S a direct replacement for the standard FDB3125?
Yes. Both breakers share the exact same F-Frame dimensions, trip unit, and electrical ratings. The primary difference is the upgraded stainless steel terminals on the FDB3125S.
Are Cutler-Hammer and Eaton FDB3125S breakers the exact same product?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer electrical business and continues to manufacture Series C F-Frame breakers under the Eaton brand. The FDB3125S is identical regardless of which brand name is printed on the label.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the FDB3125S?
No. This breaker features a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed long-time (thermal) and fixed instantaneous (magnetic) protection functions. The trip settings cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does the FDB3125S come with both line and load lugs?
By default, FDB series breakers like the FDB3125S are supplied with load-side terminals only, as they are frequently bolted directly to the bus on the line side in panelboards. If your application requires line-side wiring, a separate lug kit must be installed.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
