The FDC2045 is designed for use in Eaton Pow-R-Line 1a, 2a, and 3a panelboards, as well as Series C switchboards and motor control centers.
What wire size and material can be used with the standard lugs on the FDC2045?
The standard lugs accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG wire and are rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors.
What is the difference between the Eaton FD2045, HFD2045, and FDC2045?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The FD2045 is standard (35kA at 480VAC), the HFD2045 is high-interrupting (65kA at 480VAC), and the FDC2045 is extra-high interrupting (100kA at 480VAC). They share the same physical dimensions and mounting.
Is the FDC2045 suitable for direct current (DC) applications?
Yes, this breaker is rated for up to 250VDC with an interrupting capacity of 22kAIC, making it suitable for various industrial and DC power applications.
Can I use the Eaton FDC2045 to replace an older Cutler-Hammer FDC2045?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
