The Digitrip 310+ electronic trip unit on this 225A frame features eight selectable dial settings ranging from 100A to 225A (100A, 110A, 125A, 150A, 160A, 175A, 200A, and 225A). It does not require a separate rating plug.
Can the Eaton FDE322536L be used in DC voltage applications?
No. Eaton FDE electronic circuit breakers do not carry DC ratings. For DC applications, a thermal-magnetic F-frame breaker is required.
Is the FDE322536L suitable for reverse-feed applications?
Yes. Eaton FDE electronic circuit breakers are suitable for reverse-feed installations.
Can the FDE322536L replace an older FD breaker in an existing panelboard?
Yes. The F-frame electronic breaker shares the same footprint, dimensions, and connectors as standard FD breakers. However, the deadfront filler plate is different and must be replaced.

Yes. The L suffix in the catalog number indicates that this breaker is factory-equipped with both line and load terminals. The standard lugs accept 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire.
Can I field-install internal accessories like a shunt trip or auxiliary switch in the FDE322536L?
Eaton F-frame circuit breakers are factory sealed. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) requires internal accessories to be factory installed. Eaton does not recommend field installation of internal accessories for FDE breakers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
