It signifies that the breaker has Long-Time, Short-Time, and Instantaneous (LSI) protection, but does not include ground fault protection. Systems requiring ground fault capabilities will need a different trip unit suffix, such as 35E for LSG or 36E for LSIG.
What is the difference between the NGC and NGH versions of this 800A breaker?
The third letter in the catalog number indicates the interrupting capacity tier. The NGC308032E is the very high interrupting tier, providing up to 100kAIC at 480VAC. The NGH version is the standard high tier, which provides 65kAIC at 480VAC. Both share the exact same NG-frame physical footprint.
