Eaton / Cutler-Hammer QBGF2025 GFCI Miniature Circuit Breaker

This bolt-on breaker is designed for Eaton Pow-R-Line and Quicklag panelboards. Unlike standard plug-on breakers, it requires a bolted connection directly to the panel busbar, making it suitable for commercial and industrial applications.

The QBGF2025 is the direct predecessor to the QBGFT2025. The newer QBGFT2025 model includes an automatic self-test feature to periodically verify the ground fault circuitry, while the older QBGF2025 relies on manual testing. The QBGFT2025 serves as an exact drop-in replacement for the QBGF2025.

This breaker provides Class A ground fault protection. It is designed to trip when it detects a ground fault current of 5 milliamps, protecting personnel from electrical shock in wet or damp locations as required by the NEC.

The QBGF2025 features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus to power the internal ground fault circuitry and ensure proper operation.

This breaker is limited to a 10kAIC interrupting rating at 120/240V. It cannot be used in systems where the available fault current exceeds 10,000 amps. For higher fault currents, a breaker with a higher AIC rating is required.

The LIG designation means this thermal-magnetic breaker provides Long-Time protection against overloads, Instantaneous protection against short circuits, and Ground Fault protection for personnel safety.
