Is the Westinghouse EA3060 still in active production?

The EA frame is a legacy Westinghouse design that is no longer manufactured. The Eaton EHD3060 serves as the modern, direct cross-reference replacement and shares the same physical footprint and mounting configuration.

Which panelboards are compatible with the EA3060?

This bolt-on breaker is designed as a drop-in replacement for legacy Westinghouse CDP and FDP distribution panels. It is also fully compatible with modern Eaton Pow-R-Line 3 (PRL3) panelboards without requiring modifications.

Is the EA3060 suitable for direct current (DC) applications?

Yes, in addition to its standard AC ratings, this thermal-magnetic breaker is rated for DC systems. It provides an interrupting capacity of 5kA at 125/250VDC.

Are the trip settings on the EA3060 adjustable?

No, the EA3060 features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short-circuit) trip functions are factory-set and cannot be modified in the field.

Does the EA3060 require separate load-side lugs?

No, the breaker comes equipped with factory-installed load-side lugs that accommodate wire sizes from 14 AWG up to 1/0 AWG.

Does the EA3060 provide ground fault protection?

No, the EA3060 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker that provides only long-time and instantaneous protection (LI). It does not include ground fault or equipment protection features.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

International Shipping
