6 answersWhat panelboards accept the EB1030 breaker?
It mounts directly into Eaton Pow-R-Line C panelboards and legacy Westinghouse panelboards. It is not compatible with load centers that require plug-on or snap-in breakers.
Why is this breaker listed under both the Eaton and Westinghouse brands?
Eaton acquired the Westinghouse electrical distribution division. Breakers manufactured under the Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, and Westinghouse brands with the EB frame designation are physically and electrically identical.
Can the EB1030 replace an EHD1030 circuit breaker?
Yes. The EB1030 shares the same E-Frame footprint and bolt-on configuration, allowing it to serve as a direct drop-in substitute for the EHD1030 in compatible commercial panelboards.
Is the EB1030 suitable for direct current (DC) circuits?
Yes. In addition to its standard AC ratings, this thermal magnetic breaker is rated for 125VDC with a 5kA interrupting capacity, making it suitable for specific control circuits and DC distribution.
Does the EB1030 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal magnetic breaker equipped with fixed long-time and instantaneous trip functions. It does not include GFCI or AFCI circuitry.
Does the EB1030 require a separate mounting hardware kit?
No. It features a standard bolt-on connection designed to fasten directly to the busbar of compatible Eaton and Westinghouse panelboards without additional mounting kits.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
