Yes. Following Eaton's acquisition of the Westinghouse distribution equipment line, the FB2050 was manufactured under the Cutler-Hammer and Eaton brands. They share the exact same physical dimensions, mounting hardware, and electrical characteristics.
Where is the FB2050 typically installed?
This bolt-on F-frame breaker is primarily installed in legacy Westinghouse panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It can also be used in standalone enclosed housings designed for F-frame breakers.
Can the FB2050 circuit breaker be reverse fed?
Yes. Standard F-frame thermal-magnetic breakers like the FB2050 are suitable for reverse feed applications because they do not have specific line and load markings. If used to back-feed a panelboard, a breaker retaining kit must be installed to comply with electrical codes.
Does the FB2050 provide adjustable trip settings?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short-circuit) trip functions are factory-set and cannot be adjusted in the field.
How does the FB2050 connect to the panelboard and the load?
The line side of the breaker features a bolt-on connection that mounts directly to the panelboard bus. The load side is equipped with mechanical lugs that accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG aluminum or copper conductors.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
