Does the GC3100 bolt directly onto a panelboard bus?
No, the GC3100 is a unit-mount, feed-thru breaker designed for cable-in/cable-out connections. It is typically installed using a base mounting plate or DIN rail hardware rather than bolting to a busbar.
Are the line and load lugs included with this breaker?
Yes, the GC3100 comes equipped with standard line and load lugs that accept 14 to 1/0 AWG conductors.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the GC3100?
No, this breaker utilizes a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. It provides standard long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection that cannot be field-adjusted.
Can I substitute a GC3100 for a GHC3100?
It depends on your system voltage. The GC3100 is rated for a maximum of 240VAC, while the GHC3100 is rated for up to 480Y/277VAC. Do not use the GC3100 if your system voltage exceeds 240VAC.
How do I reset the breaker after an overcurrent trip?
When tripped, the handle moves to a center position and exposes a white indicator strip. You must push the handle firmly to the extreme OFF position to reset the internal mechanism before switching it back to ON.
Is the GC3100 suitable for direct current (DC) circuits?
Yes, in addition to its AC ratings, this breaker is rated for 125/250VDC systems, providing up to 10kA of interrupting capacity for DC applications.
Where are the lug torque requirements listed for the GC3100?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
