This breaker is designed for use in legacy Westinghouse F-Frame panelboards, Eaton Series C panelboards, and compatible motor control centers.
What is the modern Eaton replacement for the Westinghouse HFB2030?
The direct modern replacement for the obsolete HFB2030 is the Eaton HFD2030. Both share the same F-Frame dimensions, but you should always verify that the interrupting capacity meets your current system requirements.
Can I use a standard FB or EHD breaker instead of the HFB2030?
While FB, EHD, and HFB breakers share the same physical F-Frame footprint, the HFB series has a higher interrupting capacity of 25kAIC at 480VAC. You cannot substitute a lower-rated FB or EHD breaker if your system fault current requires the HFB rating.
What wire sizes do the standard lugs on the HFB2030 accept?
The standard line and load lugs accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors.
Can the HFB2030 be used in DC electrical systems?
Yes, this breaker is rated for DC applications up to 250VDC, providing an interrupting capacity of 10kAIC at that voltage.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
