This N-frame breaker is designed exclusively for use in legacy Federal Pacific NE panelboards. It features a bolt-on mounting style that connects directly to the panel bus.
What wire sizes do the load lugs on this breaker accept?
The load side lugs accommodate wire gauges ranging from 1 AWG to 4/0 AWG. The line side does not use lugs, as it bolts directly to the panelboard bus.
Is the NE227100 suitable for direct current (DC) applications?
Yes, this breaker is rated for DC systems up to 250VDC. When used in a 250VDC application, it provides an interrupting capacity of 10kA.
Can the trip settings on this Federal Pacific breaker be adjusted?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions are factory set and cannot be modified in the field.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
