What is the difference between Federal Pacific NA and NC series breakers?
The NA series breakers are full-size, measuring one inch wide per pole. The NC series breakers are half-size, measuring one-half inch wide per pole. The NA115 requires a full one-inch space in your Stab-Lok panel.

The Federal Pacific NA115, also known by catalog number 2115, is fully interchangeable with the modern Connecticut Electric UBIF15N replacement breaker.
What type of protection does the NA115 provide?

Yes, this 15-amp breaker carries a Switching Duty (SWD) classification. This means it is approved for safely switching 120V fluorescent lighting circuits on and off on a regular basis.
Are there known safety issues with legacy Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panels?
Yes. Original Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) Stab-Lok breakers have a documented history of failing to trip under overcurrent conditions.
