Yes, the GE TQ1120 is a UL Classified 3/4-inch miniature circuit breaker designed as a direct replacement for 20A, 1-pole Square D QO breakers (such as the QO120) in approved load centers.
Will the TQ1120 fit in a standard GE PowerMark Gold load center?
No. Although manufactured by GE / ABB, the TQ series features a 3/4-inch footprint designed exclusively for Square D QO panels. Standard GE load centers require 1-inch THQL or 1/2-inch THQP breakers.
How does the TQ1120 mount to the panel busbar?
The TQ1120 utilizes a plug-on mounting style designed to clip directly onto the busbars of Square D QO load centers. It does not use a bolt-on connection to the bus.
What type of conductors can be terminated on the TQ1120 box lugs?
The box lug terminals are rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors. They accept wire gauges from 14 to 8 AWG for copper, and 12 to 8 AWG for aluminum.
Are the trip settings on the TQ1120 adjustable?
No, the TQ1120 features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip mechanisms. The long-time and instantaneous trip functions cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does the TQ1120 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No, this is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker equipped with long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions. It provides overload and short-circuit protection but does not include GFCI or AFCI circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
