ABB replaces this legacy SACE Tmax T2 breaker with the XT1SU3050AFF000XXX. However, the XT1 replacement is standard 80 percent rated and requires a retrofit adapter to fit into existing T2 spaces.
Does the T2SQ050TL require standard continuous current derating?
No. Unlike standard breakers that must be derated to 80 percent for continuous loads, the T2SQ050TL is 100 percent rated. It can carry its full 50-amp load continuously.
Can I install the T2SQ050TL on a standard DIN rail?
Out of the box, the T2SQ050TL is a unit mount breaker designed for ABB Tmax T2 enclosures and switchboards. Mounting it on a DIN rail requires a separate DIN rail adapter accessory.
Are the terminals on the T2SQ050TL suitable for aluminum wiring?
Yes, the standard lugs included with this breaker are dual-rated for both copper and aluminum conductors ranging from 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG. Ensure you apply the correct torque and use an appropriate oxide inhibitor when terminating aluminum wire.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
