This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in ABB and GE AQ Lighting Panels, as well as ReliaGear Panelboards. It is not compatible with standard residential plug-on load centers.
Is the ABB THQB1115DF the same as the GE THQB1115DF?
Yes. ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions, and the THQB1115DF is the exact same Q-Line breaker previously branded under General Electric. They are fully interchangeable.
What type of protection does this dual function breaker provide?
The THQB1115DF provides both Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) and Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection. This meets National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for circuits needing both types of hazard mitigation.
How is the neutral connection wired on the THQB1115DF?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar to ensure the AFCI and GFCI sensing circuitry functions correctly.
Can I use the THQB1115DF in a GE PowerMark Gold load center?
No. PowerMark Gold load centers require plug-on THQL series breakers. The THQB1115DF is a bolt-on breaker intended for commercial panelboards.
What wire sizes are accepted by the THQB1115DF box lugs?
The box lugs accept 14 to 8 AWG copper wire, or 12 to 8 AWG aluminum wire. Ensure all connections are properly torqued to the specifications printed on the side of the breaker.

Free Shipping Policy

Expedited Shipments
