6 answersWhat panelboards are compatible with the TE1030GF?
This bolt-on molded case circuit breaker is designed specifically for commercial and industrial GE A-Series panelboards. It will not fit standard residential load centers that use plug-in Q-Line breakers.
What is the difference between the TE1030GF and a THQB1130GF?
While both are 30A, 1-pole bolt-on GFCI breakers for GE panels, they belong to different frame families and are not physically interchangeable. The TE1030GF is a TE-frame breaker with a 1.375-inch per-pole width, whereas the THQB is a Q-Line breaker with a 1-inch per-pole width.
What is the ground fault trip threshold for this breaker?
The GF suffix indicates this is a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). It is designed to trip at a 5mA leakage threshold to provide personnel protection against electrical shock.
Does this breaker require a neutral connection to function?
Yes. Like all 1-pole GFCI breakers, it must be connected to the panel neutral bus to properly monitor the current balance between the hot and neutral conductors. If an imbalance of 5mA or more is detected, the breaker will trip.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip settings adjustable on the TE1030GF?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The overcurrent and short-circuit trip thresholds cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does the TE1030GF provide arc fault (AFCI) protection?
No, this unit is strictly a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) combined with standard thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection. It does not include arc fault or dual-function capabilities.

Free Shipping Policy

Expedited Shipments
