Both are 90-amp, 2-pole E-frame molded case circuit breakers with identical physical dimensions. The THED124090 is the high-interrupting version, rated for 65kAIC at 240VAC, whereas the standard TED124090 has a lower short-circuit interrupting capacity. They are physically interchangeable in compatible panelboards, provided the system requires the higher fault current rating.
Will this breaker arrive with GE or ABB branding?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions in 2018. Depending on the manufacturing date, this E-frame breaker may feature either GE or ABB branding on the label. The physical dimensions, mounting hardware, and electrical performance remain identical regardless of the logo.
Which panelboards are compatible with the THED124090 circuit breaker?
This bolt-on breaker is designed exclusively for use in GE A-Series and GE Spectra Series panelboards. It bolts directly to the busbar and cannot be used in load centers that require plug-on or Q-Line style breakers.
