ABB / General Electric THHQB2115GFEP GFEP Miniature Circuit Breaker

This GFEP (Ground Fault Equipment Protection) breaker features a 30mA trip threshold. It is calibrated to protect equipment like heat tracing cables and dedicated machinery from electrical damage. This higher threshold prevents the nuisance tripping commonly associated with 5mA Class A personnel GFCIs.

This breaker is engineered specifically for GE A-Series panelboards and GE AQ lighting panels. It utilizes a bolt-on connection to secure directly to the panel bus bar, providing a vibration-resistant fit for commercial and industrial environments.

The THHQB2115GFEP is the high-interrupting variant of the standard THQB2115GFEP. While both share the same physical dimensions and 30mA equipment protection, the THHQB model provides a 22kAIC rating compared to the 10kAIC rating of the standard THQB version.

The attached white pigtail wire must be routed and secured directly to the neutral bus bar in your panelboard. This connection is required to power the internal sensor that monitors the circuit for ground faults.

LIG specifies the three protective functions of the thermal-magnetic trip unit. It includes Long-Time protection for sustained overloads, Instantaneous protection for immediate short-circuit clearing, and Ground-Fault protection calibrated to a 30mA leakage threshold.
