Are ABB and GE THHQL2130 breakers the exact same product?
Yes. ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions in 2018. The THHQL2130 is now manufactured under the ABB ReliaHome brand but retains the same design and full backward compatibility with legacy GE load centers.
What is the difference between the THQL2130 and the THHQL2130?
The primary difference is the short-circuit interrupting capacity. The standard THQL2130 is rated for 10kAIC, while the THHQL2130 is a high-interrupting version rated for 22kAIC at 120/240VAC. Both share the same 1-inch per pole physical dimensions.
Can I replace a slimline THQP breaker with the THHQL2130?
No. The THHQL2130 is a full-size Q-Line breaker that requires 1 inch of space per pole, taking up 2 inches total. THQP breakers are half-inch slimline breakers. They are not physically interchangeable in the same slot space.
What wire sizes are compatible with the THHQL2130 lugs?
The box lugs accept 14 to 8 AWG copper wire or 12 to 8 AWG aluminum wire. Always verify specific torque requirements printed directly on the breaker label during installation.
What does the LI trip function indicate on the THHQL2130?
The LI designation means the breaker uses a thermal magnetic trip unit equipped with Long-Time (L) protection for gradual overloads and Instantaneous (I) protection for immediate short-circuit faults.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
