Description
Part of the legacy Type AT series, the ABB AT37225 is a 3-pole, 225A molded case circuit breaker built for commercial power distribution in older Trumbull systems. This bolt-on breaker installs into GE A-Series panelboards to support aging infrastructure. For modern upgrades, it is replaced by the TFK236225 for 600V systems or the TQD32225 for 240V applications. Rated for 10kAIC at 480V, it features fixed thermal-magnetic trip settings and accepts 4 AWG to 300 kcmil wiring.Specifications

Why is this breaker associated with Trumbull, GE, and ABB?
Trumbull was an early manufacturer of electrical equipment that became part of General Electric. GE Industrial Solutions was subsequently acquired by ABB. You may encounter the AT37225 with any of these brand names, but the physical dimensions and electrical characteristics remain identical.
Are the trip settings on the AT37225 adjustable?
No. This breaker utilizes a thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed thermal (Long-Time) and fixed magnetic (Instantaneous) settings. It does not offer field-adjustable trip dials for custom coordination.
What type of wire is permitted for the AT37225 lugs?
The standard terminal lugs are dual-rated for both aluminum and copper conductors. They accept wire sizes ranging from 4 AWG to 300 kcmil. Always apply the manufacturer recommended torque during installation to prevent thermal issues.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
