6 answersWhat is the difference between the HOM120PGFI and the HOM120GFI?
The HOM120PGFI features a Plug-On Neutral connection, meaning it connects directly to the neutral bar in a compatible Plug-On Neutral load center without a pigtail wire. The HOM120GFI includes a traditional pigtail wire for the neutral connection and is used in standard Homeline panels.
Can the HOM120PGFI be installed in any Square D Homeline panel?
No. This breaker requires a Square D Homeline Plug-On Neutral load center. If you have an older Homeline panel without a Plug-On Neutral bar, you must use the pigtail version, catalog number HOM120GFI.
What level of ground fault protection does the HOM120PGFI provide?
It provides Class A ground fault protection for personnel. The breaker is designed to trip and open the circuit when a ground fault current of 4 to 6 milliamps is detected.
Does the HOM120PGFI provide arc fault (AFCI) protection?
No. This breaker provides only ground fault (GFCI) protection. If your application requires both arc fault and ground fault protection to meet NEC requirements, you will need a Dual Function breaker, such as the HOM120PDFC.
Is the HOM120PGFI compatible with Square D QO load centers?
No. Homeline breakers are 1 inch wide per pole and are not interchangeable with the 3/4 inch wide QO breakers. For a QO Plug-On Neutral panel requiring a 20A GFCI breaker, use catalog number QO120PGFI.
How do I test the GFCI function on this breaker?
Once installed and energized, press the white test button on the front of the breaker. The breaker should trip immediately. Square D recommends performing this test monthly to ensure the internal circuitry is functioning correctly.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
