No. Homeline (HOM) circuit breakers are exclusively designed for Square D Homeline load centers. They are not interchangeable with QO series panels.
Can this 2-pole GFCI breaker be used for a straight 240V load that does not have a neutral wire?
Yes. You can use the HOM225GFI for 240V loads that do not require a load neutral. Connect the two hot wires to the breaker and leave the load neutral lug empty. However, the breaker's white pigtail must still be connected to the panel's neutral bus bar to power the internal GFCI circuitry.
What level of ground fault protection does the HOM225GFI provide?
This breaker provides Class A ground fault protection. It is designed to trip when a ground fault current of 6 milliamperes (mA) or more is detected, providing personnel protection against electrical shock.
Does the pigtail neutral need to be connected if I am only protecting a 240V load?
Yes. The white pigtail neutral must always be connected to the neutral bus bar in the load center. Without this connection, the breaker's push-to-test button and ground fault monitoring electronics will not function.
What is the difference between HOM225GFI and HOM225GFIC?
Both catalog numbers represent the exact same 25A 2-pole GFCI circuit breaker. The C suffix simply indicates that the breaker is sold in retail clamshell packaging rather than standard bulk cardboard packaging.

I needed a specific breaker that has a large opening for the wiring. The photos were deceiving and showed what looked like the large opening I need for where the wires go. However, I received the breaker and the opening is the exact same and 2 other breakers I purchased from Home Depot and from Menards. Now I spent another $35 on a breaker I can’t even use. Shopping is outrageously priced, and I tried to return and I literally will have to PAY THEM to return this item. I’m very upset.
