The BJ2225 requires four 1-inch pole spaces total. It occupies two spaces on the left side of the bus and two spaces on the right side of the bus in the load center.
Can I install the BJ2225 in any Eaton BR load center?
No. Because of its 225A rating and physical size, the BJ2225 requires an Eaton BR or legacy Bryant or Westinghouse load center rated for at least 150 amps.
Do I need a hold-down kit if I use the BJ2225 as a back-fed main breaker?
Yes. When using the BJ2225 as a back-fed main device, safety standards require a dedicated hold-down kit, such as the Eaton BRPHDBJ or BRPHDBJ2, to secure the breaker to the panel bus.
Is the Eaton BJ2225 a direct replacement for the Bryant BJ2225?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, Westinghouse, and Bryant. The Eaton BJ2225 is the exact, manufacturer-approved replacement for legacy Bryant and Westinghouse BJ2225 circuit breakers.

Free Shipping Policy

Expedited Shipments
