Siemens has phased out the Murray brand. The official, UL-approved replacement for the Murray MP235 is the Siemens Q235. Siemens issued substitution letters confirming Type QP breakers can legally replace Type MP-T breakers in legacy panels.
Which electrical panels are compatible with the MP235 circuit breaker?
This breaker is designed for use in Murray and Siemens load centers that accept 1-inch plug-on breakers. Always verify compatibility by checking the wiring diagram label inside your panel door for accepted breaker types, such as Type MP-T or Type QP.
How many panel spaces does the MP235 require?
As a full-size, 2-pole breaker measuring 1 inch per pole, it requires two adjacent spaces on the panel bus.

Expedited Shipments
