5 answersIs the Murray MPP2150 still manufactured?
No. Siemens has phased out the Murray brand name and discontinued the MPP series. The direct, UL listed replacements for the MPP2150 are the Siemens QPP2150 or QN2150, depending on your specific panel configuration.
Can I install the MPP2150 in a Siemens load center?
Yes. Because Siemens acquired Murray, the MPP2150 is compatible with and UL listed for use in both Murray and Siemens load centers that accept MPP or QN frame breakers.
How many panel spaces does the MPP2150 require?
This breaker requires four full-size panel spaces (two adjacent spaces and two opposite spaces) within the load center.
Can the MPP2150 be used as a branch breaker?
Yes. While commonly used as a main breaker, it can also be installed as a branch breaker in compatible load centers, provided the panel busbar is rated to accept a 150A plug-in breaker and has the required four spaces available.
Does the MPP2150 require a hold-down kit?
If installed as a back-fed main breaker, the National Electrical Code (NEC) requires a hold-down kit to secure the breaker to the busbar. If installed in a dedicated main breaker position with a factory retainer, an additional kit may not be needed.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
