This plug-on breaker is designed for use in Siemens EQ, Ultimate, ES, and PL series load centers. It is also compatible with older ITE and Murray panels that accept standard 1 inch QP or MP-T type breakers.
What is the difference between this GFEP breaker and a standard GFCI breaker?
The Q230EG is a Ground Fault Equipment Protection (GFEP) breaker with a 30mA trip threshold, designed to protect machinery and heat trace cables from damaging line to ground faults. Standard Class A GFCI breakers have a highly sensitive 5mA trip threshold intended for personnel protection.
How do I wire the pigtail neutral on this breaker?
The white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in your load center. This connection is required to power the internal ground fault circuitry, even if your 240V load does not utilize a load neutral.
Can the Q230EG replace older Siemens equipment protection breakers?
Yes, the Q230EG is the direct replacement for the legacy Siemens QE230. It is also UL listed for use in legacy Murray load centers that require MP-T type breakers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
