Product FAQs
6 answers
Can I install the QOH2125 in a Square D Homeline load center?
No. Square D QO and Homeline circuit breakers have different mounting configurations and are not interchangeable. The QOH2125 is designed exclusively for QO load centers, NQ or NQOD panelboards, and Speed-D switchboards.
What does the "H" in the QOH2125 catalog number indicate?
The "H" designates a high interrupting rating. While a standard QO breaker typically offers a 10 kAIC rating, the QOH series provides a 42 kAIC rating at 120/240VAC for commercial or industrial applications requiring higher fault current protection.
How many panel spaces does the QOH2125 require?
This 2-pole miniature circuit breaker requires two standard 3/4-inch spaces in a compatible QO load center or panelboard.
Is the QOH2125 suitable for HVAC equipment?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, meaning it is approved for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment that requires a breaker with this specific safety designation.
Does the QOH2125 feature a tripped circuit indicator?
Yes, it includes the Square D Visi-Trip indicator. When the breaker trips due to an overcurrent or short circuit, the handle moves to a center position and a red indicator window appears, allowing you to quickly identify the tripped breaker in a crowded panel.
What is the difference between the QO2125 and the QOH2125?
Both are 125A, 2-pole plug-on breakers for the QO series, but they differ in their short-circuit interrupting capacity. The standard QO2125 is rated at 10 kAIC, while the QOH2125 is rated at 42 kAIC for systems with higher available fault currents.
