7 answersWhich panelboards accept the JJA32200 circuit breaker?
The JJA32200 is designed exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in standard load centers like QO or Homeline, nor will it fit in NQ or NF panels without an I-Line section.
How is the I-Line connection on the JJA32200 secured during installation?
The breaker features plug-on jaws that engage directly with the I-Line bus stack. It is then mechanically secured to the panelboard mounting bracket using a retaining screw, ensuring a solid electrical and mechanical connection.
Are Square D and Schneider Electric JJA32200 breakers the exact same component?
Yes. Schneider Electric manufactures the PowerPacT series, which is commonly sold under the Square D brand in North America. A JJA32200 from either brand is identical.
Does the JJA32200 support 480V or 600V applications?
No. The JJA32200 is specifically rated for a maximum of 240V. For 480V or 600V applications, a different PowerPacT J-frame breaker with the appropriate voltage rating must be selected.
Can I use the JJA32200 in a 3-phase system?
Yes, as a 3-pole breaker, the JJA32200 is designed to protect 3-phase electrical systems up to 240V.
Does the JJA32200 require external mounting hardware for the bus connection?
No. The I-Line mounting design integrates the bus connections into the breaker itself. You do not need separate bus bars, straps, or hardware kits to connect the line side to the panelboard bus.
What safety precautions should be taken before installing the JJA32200?
Always de-energize the I-Line panelboard or switchboard before installation. Verify that the power is off using a properly rated voltage tester, and follow all OSHA and NFPA 70E lockout and tagout procedures.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
