Yes. Siemens acquired ITE and Gould, so the modern Siemens B3100H is the direct, UL listed replacement for legacy ITE or Gould Type BLH 100A breakers. It features the exact same bolt-on footprint to fit existing panelboard chassis.
Is the B3100H compatible with standard residential load centers?
No. The B3100H utilizes a bolt-on mounting connection designed specifically for commercial distribution equipment, such as Siemens P1 through P5 panelboards. Residential load centers typically require plug-on style breakers.
Why would a facility require the B3100H instead of using a standard B3100?
The B3100H is a high-interrupting Type BLH breaker, capable of safely clearing fault currents up to 22kAIC at 240V AC. The standard B3100 is only rated for 10kAIC. This upgrade is mandatory for commercial systems where the calculated available fault current exceeds 10,000 amps.
Does this 100A breaker require specialty termination lugs?
No, it includes factory-installed mechanical lugs that accept standard building wire. You can land 4 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper conductors, or 2 AWG to 1/0 AWG aluminum conductors directly into the breaker. Always apply the specific torque values printed on the breaker face to ensure a safe connection.
Are the thermal or magnetic trip settings adjustable on this model?
No. The B3100H is built with fixed long-time and fixed instantaneous trip elements. If your application requires dialed-in overcurrent coordination, you will need to specify a breaker with an electronic trip unit instead of this standard thermal magnetic design.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
