Yes. The QR series is a direct, functional substitute for the obsolete QJ series. The QR23B100 shares the exact same form factor and mounting footprint as the QJ23B100 to allow for easy retrofitting without panel modifications.
What is the tightening torque for the load-side lugs on the QR23B100?
For the standard factory-installed 3TA1QR300 lugs, tighten 3 AWG to 1/0 AWG conductors to 100 in-lbs. For larger 2/0 AWG to 300 kcmil conductors, tighten to 225 in-lbs.
Is the QR23B100 a 100% rated circuit breaker?
No, it is a standard 80% rated breaker. Per standard electrical code practices, continuous loads should not exceed 80A, which is 80% of its 100A nominal rating.
Are line and load lugs included with this breaker?
Standard QR23B100 breakers are supplied with load-side lugs only. If both line and load-side lugs are required for your installation, you must order the catalog number with an 'L' suffix (QR23B100L) or purchase the line-side lugs separately.
Can the QR23B100 be reverse fed?
Yes. The standard QR23B100 is constructed with a non-interchangeable trip unit, making it suitable for reverse feed applications where permitted by local code and system design.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the QR23B100?
No. This breaker features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip functions. The long-time and instantaneous trip thresholds are factory-calibrated and cannot be field-adjusted.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
